Sustainable Holiday Park

Feb 12, 2020

We are passionate about promoting sustainable tourism and we are always working to reduce our carbon footprint.  Our guests can relax in luxurious surroundings at a park which values its precious countryside location.

We pride ourselves on welcoming wildlife and encouraging bio-diversity at Willow Pastures.  We passionately believe that our park should operate with respect to nature.  From feeding the birds and providing bat boxes to building duck houses and planting bee-friendly flowers, we endeavor to make our park a safe haven for wildlife.  Of course, this also means that our owners can enjoy their countryside bolthole while watching our fascinating wildlife as it evolves throughout the year.

Our beautifully remote location means our owners and guests can get out and discover the area without jumping in the car.  With our direct link to the Trans Pennine Way, a wonderful selection of country pubs can be safely reached on foot or by cycling, as well as the quaint seaside town of Hornsea and lots of lovely villages along the way.  Gardener's Arms Country Inn is just footsteps from the park and Skirlaugh Garden & Aquatic Centre is a great day out for all the family, just a 5 minute stroll away.

Where possible, we use local suppliers in our guest welcome packs which not only reduces the miles our food travels but means our guests receive a special, unique selection of goodies when they arrive.  With an incredible choice of farm shops, independent retailers and even microbreweries on our doorstep, we encourage all our owners and guests to shop local.
